Goose Creek Diner

Was in the area & hungry & saw Goose Creek Diner. Great choice. This is a true mom & pop diner. No frills in decor (although they are moving soon to a new space). Service was beyond excellent and food was wonderful. Comfort food at its best. The potato soup was the perfect balance of flavors & even left a little kick of heat to the back of your mouth. A bowl was so filling though that I couldn't eat my chicken pot pie. It was a full meal for lunch the next day though! And only $11!!! It's so good & I'll definitely be back.

Great food for the price. The fried chicken and grilled pork chops were so juicy and well seasoned. It has a small town diner feel in busy area. The staff are always super friendly. They may be busy a lot but the food is always delicious.

My husband and I have been coming here for years. It's a little hidden and you wouldn't see it if you're not looking specifically for it. Tonight I ordered the chicken fried chicken as well as the Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. It was delicious and the chicken batter was perfectly crisp. The Mac and cheese wasn't my favorite just because I prefer mine a little more creamy. My hubby got the fried chicken livers and fries. Service was good and they were attentive. Parking was plentiful and accommodating. The dining room is dated but they are about to relocate. On Tuesdays they offer 20% off dinner. Hope you enjoy!

My husband and I ordered a combination platter to share. We ordered liver and onions, chicken fried chicken, macaroni and cheese and kale greens. Everything was delicious. The chicken fried chicken was perfectly crispy. They served warm cornbread to the table while ordering. Nice little breakfast/lunch spot. They have lunch specials Monday thru Saturday

We came for Mothers Day Brunch, so we never saw a menu. The buffet offered a hot table with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits & gravy, grits, and breakfast potatoes. There's also baked salmon that was surprisingly good, sliced ham and fried chicken along with green beans and mashed potatoes. Move on to the omelet station for personal omelettes, pancakes, French toast and sliced prime rib. And for good measure a third table with pastries and fruits. As noted, the salmon was a nice surprise. Not the usual dried out fish. The fried chicken was ok, but from a steam table you can't expect really crispy food. Service was excellent. The steam tables were constantly refilled. And the food quality was above average. I just thought $26 for the buffet was steep. Particularly without smoked salmon, shrimp or crab. If I ever go back, I'd skip the buffet and order from the menu. I just don't think it was available today. One other point. The place is filthy. Don't eat under an AC vent. Lord knows what's crawling up there.

What's not to love about a brunch buffet complete with crepes of your choice? Very good down home style food. Highly recommend if you're in the mood for comfort food.

So much food in the fish & shrimp family meal deal for less than $40! 6 large pieces of crispy cod fish, lots of breaded butterfly shrimp, family sizes of 3 side dish selections, plus chips & queso as appetizer all included in this meal deal. We will get several meals from all this food. Our curbside order was fast & easy to place online selecting our pick up time. Food was hot, well packaged, & promptly delivered curbside to my car! All food was still warm upon arrival home & made for an easy dinner spread with minimal clean up and plenty of leftovers.

We opted for a family meal from Goose Creek Diner and ordered the fried chicken meal. It was perfect for 4 and we got muffins, mac and cheese, green beans, mashed potatoes and queso with chips. The fried chicken was a hit with all 4 of us, as well as the mac and cheese. The potatoes are made with the skins (kids are so weird about that). Cornbread is sweet. Several family meals are available and pricing is great. You're likely to have leftovers. Nicely packaged and easy to carry out.
